Road Transportation in Maine

The Adopt-A-Highway-Program provides a great opportunity to individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations Highwayto participate in litter control and beautification activities along the public highways in Maine. Any interested municipality or county can adopt its own program for these activities. Local rules are set up and provided to the Boy Scouts, or the Kiwanis Club or any interested group who wants to "adopt" a highway in town.
